Wendy Williams believes Terrence Howard should be kicked off the 'Empire' hit Fox drama because his personal troubles could affect the ratings of the show.
The daytime talk show host called out Howard a.k.a Lucious Lyon during her show on Thursday, October 1, arguing that Fox should fire the Oscar-nominated actor's oresence on the program due to his real life legal problems and "nutty" behavior overshadowing the show.
"Terrence Howard, your personal life has taken over to where if by chance they took you off the show I would be happier than mad," Williams shared. "Between him allegedly being abusive to women in his personal life, him giving an 18-page nutty interview to Rolling Stone magazine where he talked about all kinds of nuttiness…again going back to how he allegedly treats women in his life. It’s usurped his entire situation at Empire and the show could do without Terrence Howard."
As we earlier reported, Howard has been at the center of domestic violence allegations leveled against him by his first wife Lori McCommas and his second wife Michelle Ghent. In 2011 a judge granted Ghent a restraining order against Howard, and Ghent was granted another restraining order in 2013. Howard has denied allegations of domestic violence.
On Saturday, September 29, Howard responded to Williams' comments on Twitter, shaming the talk show host for her "hurtful" comments.
