Comedian Kevin Hart has been set as the first guest for 'The Daily Show' with Noah Trevor, which premieres on September 28, 2015 on Comedy Central.
Other guests for the premiere week include founder and CEO of Bumble, Whitney Wolfe, who would be on show on September 29, 2015, Governor Chris Christie for September 30 and musician Ryan Adams on October 1.
In a promo clip released to promote show, Noah was heard saying "It’s still 'The Daily Show' nothing’s going to change."
In March 2015, 'The Daily Show' appointed Trevor Noah as a replacement for Jon Stewart, following his departure from 'The Daily Show' after 16 years.
Noah made his debut as a contributor to the nightly satirical show in December 2014, becoming the first South African stand-up comedian to appear on the late night show.
The South African made his U.S. TV debut in 2012 on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.'
Following the announcement of his appointment, Trevor received backlash for his past 'sexist' Tweets.
Trevor was born in South Africa to a black South African mother and a white European father.
