Danny Glover: Actor arrives in Lagos for Ebola film



Hollywood actor, Danny Glover has arrived in Lagos, Nigeria to play a lead role in the upcoming movie, “93 Days”. The award winning talent landed in the metropolitan city on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.


“93 days” is based on a true story. The film follows the bravery of the Nigerian citizens who made sacrifices and put their lives on the line to prevent the outbreak of the highly dreaded Ebola virus in the country.



Several Nigerian A-list actors as well as veteran Hollywood star, Tim Reid have been cast for roles in the movie. Bimbo Akintola plays the role of the late Ameyo Stella Adadevoh alongside Gideon Okeke who plays Morris Ibeawuchi, an Ebola survivor


The movie is directed by Steve Gukas, and produced  by Bolanle Austen-Peters, Dotun Olakunrin and Gukas.

In July, 2015, the movie producers said: “Our aim is to create a feature film that will resonate with many people across the world particularly in Nigeria and its sub-region”. At its core, 93 days is a tale of common humanity and just how much we can achieve when we stand united".
