'The Martian' Movie finds its way back to the box office top


Despite five new movies that made its debut, Matt Damon's 'The Martian' still found its way back to the top of the box office in its fourth weekend, with $15.9 million.



The movie took the first spot from Goosebumps , which topped the chart last week, but fell to second place with an estimated $15.5M.



Taking the third spot, Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks' 'Bridge of Spies' made it to the third spot, bringing in an estimated $11.4M.

Vin Diesel’s 'The Last Witch Hunter'  opened in fourth spot with an estimated $10.8M from 3,082 theaters.

Adam Sandler's 'Hotel Transylvania 2' beat its 2012 predecessor’s total gross this weekend with an estimated $9M in its fifth weekend, to take the fifth spot.


'Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension' opened at the sixth place with $8.2 million.

'Steve Jobs'  moved to the seventh spot this weekend with $7.2 million.

'Crimson Peak ' at number eight, opened with $5.5 million.

'The Intern' too the 9th spot with  $3.8 million, while 'Sicario ' rounded the top 10 with $2.9 million.
