Waje, has been billed to perform at a popular AIDS awareness event in Hollywood known as Divas Simply Singing.

The highly respected annual AIDS Gala will also feature performances from Jordin Sparks, Erica Campbell of Mary Mary, Shanice, Sheryl Ralph, and other talented female singers.

Award winning Sheryl Ralph is the convener of the event which has been running for 25 years, and she shared on Instagram, “Just added #Nigerian #Diva #UNAmbassador #officialwaje Saturday at the @Montalban in Hollywood.”

An excited Waje posted a video showing her as a performing artist at the event, asking her followers to get tickets. Divas Simply Singing is the longest consecutive running musical Aids Benefit in the USA.

Waje, the visioneer behind Waje Safe House, is in a new partnership with TBWA/Concept to support Child Life-line, a charity dedicated to helping street kids.

The organisation recently launched the LINK Initiative, with the goal of giving hope to children on the streets.

Singer and UN Ambassador, Waje, also took the opportunity to launch her new single titled ‘African Child’, with the proceeds of the song going to Child Life-line to aid street children.

Speaking at the event, she enjoined other celebrities, individuals and corporate organizations to support the Child Life-line Organization in its effort to help the homeless Nigerian child and provide them with the promise of a better tomorrow.

Waje recently rolled out the visuals to her reggae love-themed single ‘Left for good’ featuring Patoranking and produced by E-Kelly.

Shot in Lagos, and directed by AJE Films, the 'Left for good' video is reminiscent of real Jamaican living as the story of heartache and drama unfolds, and the duo are captured on roof tops and night clubs sporting the right colors ‘’Straight out of Kingston’’
