James Harden, 26, is giving nothing but his full support to girlfriend, Khloe Kardashian, 31, to stay by her husband, Lamar Odom, 35, as he struggles through recovery from his alleged drug overdose.
Khloe confirmed she's still in a relationship with Harden when she left Lamar's bedside to watch her beau play in Houston for the Rockets on October 28. Reports say the NBA star has been quite the gentleman during Lamar's nightmare ordeal.
"James has offered his full support to Khloe, saying if she or Lamar need anything, he is there for them,” a source tells HollywoodLife. "He offered his support from the onset because he’s never had any bad blood towards Lamar and knows exactly what he means to her."
The source further says he hasn’t put any demands on Khloe when it comes to seeing Lamar but wishes him well. “James didn’t pressure Khloe to see Lamar, she didn’t want him to be there, and he completely understood that. Instead, he asked Khloe to pass on his best wishes to Lamar once he knew that Lamar was in recovery and able to understand what was going on," the source adds.
According to the site, the reality TV star is also planning on celebrating Christmas with both Lamar and James. In fact, Khloe has asked Lamar if he would like to go to Texas to see James play.
"Khloe has brought up the idea to watch James play on Christmas and bring Lamar with her if he is healthy enough to travel to Texas. She wants Lamar to be around the game and have some fun; he needs it. But in the chance that he is not able to take that much of travel, she would love to go to the Los Angeles Lakers game, and then hang out with James during New Year’s Eve after his game that night because he has the following day off," the source said.
