Young love is so beautiful. You become so infatuated with each other, no one else exists in your world of newfound love. Every kiss is sweet, every text creates butterflies and every picture is posted with every romantic emoji out there. But when a New York college student began dating her boyfriend, they became the butt of the joke when her parents decided to poke fun at their lovey-dovey Facebook pictures.
LIM student, Emily Musson, has been very happy to share her relationship with her boyfriend, Johnny, all over social media. Even though the two had only been together for two weeks, she didn't hesitate to show the world bae and how in love they were.
But when her parents, Craig and Nancy, got a look at the pictures, they were so moved by their daughter's happiness, there was only one thing they could do: make fun of her.
Craig and Nancy decided to recreate the same romantic selfies Emily posted of her and Johnny. Completely blind-sided by her parents' mockery, Emily was immediately mortified. But like the old saying goes, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
Emily wasted no time in sharing her embarrassment with the world. She took to her Twitter and posted the two selfies, side-by-side, to show just how unbothered she was by them. And to her surprise, everyone in Twitterland loved them.
