Manchester City superstars; David Silva and Pablo Zabaleta took to Twitter on Saturday to celebrate the 90th minute goal by Nigeria's Kelechi Iheanacho who came off the bench to score City's winner in their game against Crystal Palace.
Iheanacho pounced on a rebound off a Samir Nasri shot which was spilled by Palace's keeper to grab his first EPL goal for Manuel Pellegrini's side.
Some of City’s absentee first-team stars were among the first to congratulate Iheanacho on his efforts.
David Silva and Pablo Zabaleta both tweeted in celebration of Iheanacho’s match-winning strike.
In a ringing endorsement, Silva predicted it would be the first of many goals the young Nigerian would score for the club.
"First of many @67Kelechi 🏼🏼🏼🏼!! Cmooooon!," David Silva (@21LVA) tweeted.
And Pablo Zabaleta (@pablo_zabaleta) concurred, "Yeeeeessss @67Kelechi!!!!!!!."
City’s unbeaten start to the season have opened up a five-point gap at the top of the table, Arsenal have 10 points behind them.
