Chelsea forward Pedro has revealed that his decision to join the Blues this summer and opt against Manchester United
was not because of Louis van Gaal’s treatment of Victor Valdes, but admits he does find the goalkeeper’s predicament at Old Trafford “unfair”, as per Marca.
Pedro joined Chelsea just a few weeks ago from Barcelona, ending his time with the Catalan giants after he had come through the famous La Masia academy there.
However, it could have been very different for the 28-year-old after he was tipped for a large part of the summer to join Van Gaal’s Manchester United.
It was reported that Ed Woodward even jetted out to Spain to conclude the deal for the Spaniard, as per the Independent, but within hours Pedro performed a dramatic u-turn and went to the capital to join Chelsea.
