Pregnant CNN anchor Poppy Harlow collapsed on live television on Monday, December 28, and returned shortly after the incident to explain what hapeened.



In a clip released by Deadspin, 33-year-old Harlow begins the broadcast with some breaking news with a lower third that reads: "Iraq declares Ramadi 'Liberated' from ISIS.'" She then slowly begins to slur her words. "We have this new CNN/ORC poll," she says quietly. "Which is quite a . . . quite a . . . turnaround . . ."

The broadcast then goes radio silent and Harlow is heard breathing through her anchor mic. CNN quickly replaced her with CNN Media anchor Brian Stelter. Shortly after the incident, Harlow rebounds and returns to the anchor chair.


Harlow, who is expecting her first child with her husband, Sinisa Babcic, later took to Twitter to thank everyone who was worried over what happened and assured then her baby was doing just fine:
